libfluidsynth1 software package provides Real-time MIDI software synthesizer (runtime library), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfluidsynth1
libfluidsynth1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfluidsynth1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfluidsynth1 *
You will get with libfluidsynth1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
